Those who pre-order an Ultimate Edition or buy it at retail between now and September 27th can expect their copy by this date as well!

In 2022, gamers can look forward to FIFA 22. This new installment of EA’s popular video game will be available on next-generation consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S as well as Windows PC from Microsoft (in addition to current generation platforms such as PS4 & Xbox One).

EA Sports has a great deal for those who are getting their new consoles this holiday season. Users can upgrade the games on PS4 or Xbox One to an Xbox Series X/S at no additional cost if they buy it before then, and with FIFA 22 coming out soon many gamers may do just that in order to get ahead of potential gifts during 2021’s gift list rush! This offer is only available to people who have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition, though.

A recent report from trusted sources indicate that the Nintendo Switch version of FIFA might be an updated squad rather than a new release. This is possible as it was for last year’s game, with its “Legacy Edition”. With such developments on this front coming soon we’ll have to wait and see what happens!

When Google Stadia launched in 2019, they didn’t have access to FIFA 20 but can now download and play the latest version. For future games it looks like we’ll still be getting a new release every year!

Pre-order Dates

Fans of the FIFA series will be able to get their hands on next year’s game, right now. They can preorder FIFA 22 from September 12th until release date in October and play it starting on 27th September with all these additional benefits:

Players who purchase football games through Origin (EA) will be offered discounts when buying packs or coins for Ultimate Team mode as well free loan players available only after preordering!
