2023 Valorant Teams Reveal

Curious about 2023 Valorant teams reveal? Don’t miss out on the details in this article.

Riot Games finally revealed the full list of 30 teams that will join the new Valorant Champions Tour as partnered organizations in a blog post published Wednesday, after months of deliberation. The complete list can be found at the bottom of this article.

“The process was incredibly competitive, and we were humbled by the interest and overwhelming number of applications we received,” the company said in a statement. “The process took months and included a written application, in-depth interviews, and financial reviews.”

The company stated that it has three main criteria for partnering organizations: each organization must put fans first, celebrate the game’s diverse community, and be committed to supporting pros; each organization must create compelling content with a strong brand identity and exciting personalities on the team; and each organization must focus on long-term sustainability.

Riot’s decision, on the other hand, was not influenced by past competitive performance.

Teams that did not receive partner status will be able to compete in the VCT through the Challengers tournament series. Riot Games revealed the new system last month, which allows teams to temporarily advance to the larger Champions circuit.

The Challengers Split one of the 2023 season will begin in January, while the Champions circuit will begin with a kickoff tournament in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The tournament will last three weeks, beginning on February 14 and ending on March 5.

The International League split will begin on March 26 and will last until May 28, when Challengers split two will begin. The Masters 2023 will take place in June, with the Last Chance Qualifier following in July. In July, challenger teams will compete in the Ascension Tournament to determine who will join the Champions Tour for the 2024 season. Finally, Champions 2023 will bring the season to a close in August.

“We were fortunate to have found such a strong group of teams who represent fans across North America, Brazil, and Latin America. These organizations have a proven track record of achieving success within esports and building brands with deeply loyal fan bases,” Riot Games said.

“EMEA is vast and wide and has an incredible FPS pedigree,” said Riot Games. “We wanted a balance of teams whose reach spans the whole territory and those who hyper serve the biggest national audiences.”

“The mix of teams [in Pacific] was carefully chosen to ensure the vibrant mosaic of countries and regions within the Asia-Pacific was well-represented,” Riot Games said.
