Madden 23 Release Date and Roster

The new Madden 23 release date is approaching, and Electronic Arts has confirmed all pre-order bonuses, how much it costs, and how to get early access as well as the EA Play 10-hour trial.

With this year’s installment, there’s a lot to look forward to. The developers claim it will be the’most polished version in a long time,’ and EA has now responded to feedback received during the recently completed closed beta.

New features have been promised for the game, which is set to launch in a matter of weeks.

The new Madden 23 will be released on August 19th, while the early access and EA Play 10-hour trial will both be available on August 16th.

It will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, with various versions ranging from PS4 to PS5, Xbox One, and Series X/S. FieldSense is this year’s big improvement, but unlike FIFA’s hypermotion, it won’t be available on PS4 and Xbox One.

Furthermore, FieldSense will not be available on PC because Origin will only support the last-gen version of the game. This is extremely disappointing news, as EA is finally providing FIFA players on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S with features in this year’s installment.

The new Madden 23 EA Play 10-hour trial will be available on August 16th.

This is the same day that the early access version is released (via EA Help). If you’re on the fence about purchasing this year’s installment, the 10-hour trial will allow you to try out all of the new features and additions.

An EA Play subscription costs £3.99 per month or £19.99 per year. If you have Xbox Game Pass on PC for £7.99 per month or an Ultimate membership on console for £10.99 per month, you get an EA Play subscription for free.

EA Play Pro, on the other hand, costs £14.99 per month or £99.99 per year. Regrettably, Pro is only available on PC through Origin. This will grant you complete access to the All Madden version at no additional cost.
