Pokémon Gen 9 Starters Evolutions Leaks and More Updates

Nintendo has announced the new instalment of Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet along with the Gen 9 starters. There are Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. However, there’s still no further information about these Pokémon Scarlet Gen 9 starters evolutions.

If we look back on the previous version of the game, the last Pokémon starter evolutions are more human-looking. Therefore, many people expect that Pokémon will put new upgrades for the final evolution of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly to be more monstrous-looking.

In addition to that, this article will help you to know more about the Pokémon Gen 9 Starters evolutions leak. Though Nintendo still hasn’t given any clue yet, we can make some speculations based on those three Pokémon starters. Let’s just begin the discussion.

Pokémon Gen 9 Starters Evolutions: Sprigatito

The first Pokémon starter is Sprigatito. According to the name, it sounds like the Pokémon was inspired by the Spanish Language. Like the look of this cute appearance, Sprigatito fairly looks like a Grass Cat Pokémon. It has green colour all over its body, complete with a leaf-like fur with older green around its neck.

The evolution of this pretty form of a cat is still unknown. Nonetheless, judging from its appearance, it could evolve into a Grass-type Pokémon. Other than that, observing from its name, there’s ‘Spri’ in Sprigatito that is quite close to ‘spirit’ Furthermore, it can be turned into a Ghost-type Pokémon if that’s possible.

However, according to The SV Guy, the final evolution of Sprigatito might be Grass/Fairy type based on an Iberian lynx and flamenco dancers. The final evolution of Sprigatito will be called Florarince.

Gen 9 Final Evolutions: Fuecoco

Next is Fuecoco. Judging from its appearance, this Pokémon looks like a little dinosaur yet there’s a touch of the dragon as well. Additionally, Fuecoco is the Fire-type starter Pokémon. And it’s the same as Sprigatito, Fuecoco evolution is still unknown.

However, if we look for the type and the appearance of this Pokémon, Fuecoco might turn into a Dark-type form, similar to the previous alligator Pokémon, Krookodile. Again, according to the same source, Fuecoco will probably turn into a Fire/Ghost Pokémon called Cucapiente based on a Cucafera and a Quetzacoatl.

The Final Form of Quaxly

The last starter in Pokémon Gen 9 is Quaxly. This Pokémon actually has a pretty match name and form. Indeed, Quaxly is a Pokémon with a duck-like form as it is translated from Japanese as the Baby Duck Pokémon.

The evolution of this Pokémon is still unknown as well. However, due to its bird form, it could be possible to evolve into a Water or Flying-type Pokémon. Additionally, some people have been trying to predict the final form of Quaxly. It could be a Water/Dark-type Pokémon called Cabospada that is based on Don Quixote and Zorro.

In addition to those three new Pokémon, you can find other new characters. One of the characters that may appear in the latest Pokémon instalment is Professor Sada and Turo. No, you didn’t hear it wrong. Scarlet and Violet now have two professors.

Other than that, there is also a Pokémon trainer named Grusha who looks kinda cute and lovely (until you find out that Grusha is a man. LOL!), Mr Jacq the Biology teacher, and more! You’ll see them in November, so keep an eye out!

So, what do you guys think about the Pokémon Gen 9 starters evolutions above? Are they close enough to fit your expectation? However, that’s all still a leak that can probably change at any time. But at least you have got little insights about it, haven’t you? Just wait patiently till the last 2022 and see what Pokémon can give to you.
