DMZ Mode Warzone 2.0 Release Date and Details

Source: Video Games Chronicle

The DMZ Mode will be playable when Warzone 2.0 is airing the next week. Basically, DMZ is an open-world and narrative-focused extraction mode. This mode allows the Operator squads to take part in faction-based missions, as well as the side objectives, engage with AI combatants or enemy Operators, and more while trying to survive toward exfiltration.

Additionally, the objectives you need to accomplish will include taking over strongholds, collecting valuable items such as key pieces of intel, battling the bosses, and saving hostages. This concept actually used to happen in the Escape from Tarkov game.

What’s more interesting about this mode is that DMZ mode adopted some elements in The Division’s “Dark Zone” where players shouldn’t need to fight other teams. In fact, the game will grant a bounty on teams that engage other teams.

To begin the game and play the DMZ mode, you’ll later drop onto the Al Mazrah map in teams, and start to complete the missions.

Is DMZ Mode Going to Be Free?

Since Warzone 2.0 is a free-to-play game and DMZ mode is a part of it more than Modern Warfare 2, this mode probably will be free as well. However, there has been no confirmation about it from the developer. In case there’s further information regarding this sort of thing, we’re going to update it as soon as we can. Keep an eye on our blog.

Conclusion

Now that you know the Warzone 2.0 release date and the DMZ mode details, you can prepare yourself to plunge into the game as soon as it’s released. It’s about six days to go anyway. Are you excited about it?
